Summary
We are looking for a patient, caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team to work with children and their families in a friendly environment. A qualified candidate would have at least 9 credits and some experience working in a center. We provide a fun environment with happy children and friendly families.
Duties
Maintain frequent communications with parents at pick up.
Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
The ability and motivation to work and interact with children, families and other teachers on our team.
Be able to work Part time 12:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday. More hours available as a floater or a lead teacher in our classrooms if interested.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 months of professional child care experience.
A strong understanding of child development.
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
Nice To Haves
Ideally we are seeking someone that has 9 ECE credits or is currently in school for ECE. We can assist with any schooling and training on site.
