Job Description

As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and document security-related activity. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech corporate location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and interior areas for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance issues, alarms, and other concerns through approved communication channels.

Complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs with clear, accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal requirements and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
