Job summary
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining all golf course maintenance equipment at BlueStar Resort & Golf. This includes creating a foundation for team member safety and high quality.The ideal candidate will have two to three years' experience as an Operator 3 or related experience. They should demonstrate knowledge of equipment repairs needed and maintenance required through references and work history.
Key responsibilities include communicating core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals; understanding the game of golf and role of equipment maintenance in safety, quality, and aesthetics;
communicating with lead mechanic or assistant superintendent on daily/weekly work assignments;
collaborating with equipment manager to create capital equipment budgets;
assisting supervisor or equipment manager with departmental compliance with OSHA regulations;
maintaining clean safe orderly work environment ensuring all equipment properly cleaned;
and assisting implementation preventative maintenance program for all equipment identifying correcting performance problems completing repairs adjustments,
