- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in database management and infrastructure engineering
- Demonstrated track record of designing and deploying robust production database infrastructure, covering security, replication, and observability aspects such as monitoring, alerting, and logging
- Proficiency in cutting-edge database technologies, including distributed databases, time-series databases, and columnar storage, with a keen understanding of their tradeoffs
- Strong command of Linux systems, particularly Debian, coupled with extensive expertise in PostgreSQL or MySQL administration
- Proficient in Python scripting, with a deep comprehension of data structures and software design principles
- Solid programming skills, coupled with a knack for troubleshooting performance issues and networking configurations
