    Description

    Description:
    +
    Pay: $25-$33/hr+
    Hours: 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) or 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm)+

    Benefits:

    • Placement:
    Direct Hire, aka no contracts
    Duties:+ Perform MIG or Flux-core welding on heavy mining components



    • Fitter Class Welders:
    need to be competent with large-scale open table setup, and ideally flux-core (1/16 or 3/32).

    Heavy plate experience is a plus+
    Regular Class Welders :
    need to be experienced with hardwire MIG 045/052 or Flux 1/16 or 3/32 Also experience with heavy plate or fabrication is a plus

    Description:

    + Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings+ Verifies correct quantity and quality of parts welded+ Layout stitch welds; locations of weld and weld size for welders+ Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications+ Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma hand torches for fitting purposes+ Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure, safety regulations and practices+ Assist with the welding of a Weldments+ Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision+ May be required to perform the following welding processes: SMAW, GMAC, SAW & TIG+ Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions
