Job Title: Contract Demolition General Laborer
Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Job Type: 1099 Contract – Project Based

Job Overview:
Safety 1st Pro Services is seeking a dependable and hardworking Demolition General Laborer for an upcoming commercial demolition project in Pompano Beach, Florida. This is a contract position for project-based work. The ideal candidate will have experience with interior selective demolition, site clean-up, and working safely in active construction environments.
Scope of Work:
Perform interior selective demolition work
Remove debris and load materials into dumpsters or trucks
Assist with protection of adjacent finishes and work areas
Operate basic hand and power tools (saws, drills, pry bars, etc.)
Maintain a clean and safe jobsite at all times
Follow directions from the Site Superintendent and Project Manager
Adhere to OSHA and Safety 1st Pro Services safety standards and PPE requirements
Requirements:
Prior demolition or construction labor experience preferred
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite in Pompano Beach
Must bring basic PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, boots, eye protection)
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with commercial interior demo
Familiarity with using power tools and demolition equipment
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (not required but a plus)
Compensation:
1099 Contract – Paid per hour or per project (based on experience)
Weekly pay upon approved invoices
Opportunity for ongoing project work with Safety 1st Pro Services across Florida and Nationwide.
Schedule:
Day shift
Project-based duration (with potential for additional phases)
