    To strengthen our defenses and ensure the safety of our systems, data, and customers, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security Engineer.

    As an Information Security Engineer at IEL, you will play a pivotal role in building and securing our infrastructure and data.

    This role will require a broad range of knowledge and expertise across multiple information security domains.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and infrastructure to develop and implement robust security solutions, policies, and procedures.

    Your expertise in information security and program development will be vital in safeguarding our digital assets and infrastructure.

    The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for identifying threats and vulnerabilities in the Company's IT systems and software architecture and preparing against potential threats that could disrupt the Company's operations.

    This role is also responsible for testing security systems to monitor and mitigate any threats.
    Develop, implement, and maintain information security programs, policies, and procedures.

    • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
    • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure system configurations and infrastructure.
    • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on information security best practices.
    • Participate in the development and delivery of security awareness and training programs.
    • Perform internal and external vulnerability scanning and phishing tests to verify proper security protocols are being followed.
    • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
    • Install and maintain endpoint software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
    • Plan, develop, implement, and update company's information security strategy.
    • Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.

    • Five or more years of work experience as an Information Security Engineer or related position, with experience building out security programs or capabilities.
    • Extensive knowledge of operating system, network, web applications, and database security.
    • Knowledge of security systems including end point protection, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems, intrusion detection/prevention, and network monitoring.
    • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
    • Proficiency in developing and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures.
