- Ensure the safety and medical well-being of study participants by ethically conducting and safely performing clinical trials, adhering to FDA, ICH, NIH, GCPs & HIPAA guidelines, study protocols, and company policies.
- Provide overall site leadership with a focus on improving efficiencies, enhancing patient safety, and ensuring protocol/GCP/regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate and assess participants to ensure only eligible candidates enroll in trials.
- Contribute to the successful recruitment and retention of study participants.
- Foster positive collaboration with sponsors, clients, and team members.
- Maintain meticulous records of data and participant information, following protocol guidelines and GCPs.
- Actively participate in staff protocol training and Investigator Meetings (IMs) to stay updated on recruitment affairs and issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, requested, or required to meet the needs of participants, protocols, and/or the company.
- MD or DO degree, an active physician license (in good standing) in the state of practice, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical research environment, or equivalent education and experience.
- Board certification in a specialty area required.
- Clinical proficiency in procedures such as phlebotomy, vital signs assessment, ECGs/EKGs, IV administration, etc., based on specialty area.
- Proficiency in MS Office, electronic health records, web applications, and typing (40+ wpm).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and math proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
- Professionalism, respect for others, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.
- High degree of urgency, integrity, and dependability.
- Ability to independently identify and solve problems.
- Capacity to handle sensitive information confidentially and in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
