    Job Summary:
    1. Assist in the implementation of the school mission and help school achieve excellence in the areas of student learning, team collaboration, positive school learning environment, effective verbal and written communication.
    2. Partner with the building administrator for teacher observations and evaluations.
    3. Development of the master schedule
    4. Meet regularly with staff to plan for collaboration on scheduling, curriculum, assessment, IEP and other student/guardian meetings.
    5. Co-create and present staff learning opportunities and facilitate Professional Development and Data Days
    6. Plan, lead, and facilitate active and highly engaging educational, leadership, and enrichment activities for students and staff.
    7. Planning ESY services for adult learners
    8. Carry out other responsibilities as defined by the administrator.
    Qualifications:
    1. Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach special education preferred.
    2. Administrative license or enrolled in an administrative program with relevant coursework and experience in Education, Counseling and Restorative Justice
    3. Experience in special education preferred
    4. Experience in leading teachers to maximize growth for students
    5. Ability to build relationships with staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
    6. Experience as an instructional leader; team building consensus and collaboration skills.
    7. Ability to communicate well and lead change
    8. Experience in facilitating positive systems school-wide.
    9. Ability to facilitate conflict resolution
    10. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, and racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
