Description & RequirementsFORVIS seeks experienced professionals who can leverage technical architecture expertise to define strategic systems solutions for clients.
The architect will map solutions and define the technical architecture and designs using D365 and ancillary products to achieve a solution that meets the client's business needs.
Seeking candidates to work directly with project and client leadership to facilitate the definition and implementation of the technical architecture to enable the business.
How you will contribute:
Architecting the technical solution and associated designs to meet the defined solution direction for the client Performing the necessary consultation with clients in defining and implementing technical solutions based on D365 Defining projected costs for Dynamics solutions and projects Working separately or as a part of a project team based on clients' needs Leading rapport-building with clients through effective communication and ongoing sessions/meetings Coordinating/completing tasks and solutions based on client and project needs Learning FORVIS implementation methodology and related deliverables Assisting the Project Manager as required during planning and assessment activities
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and: Ability to practice the highest level of confidentiality of client's intellectual property Flexibility in replying to client needs and requests Proven track record demonstrating strong communication skills and ability to work individually or in a team environment Propensity and willingness to travel around 35-40% Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks completely and independentlyEffective communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
Minimum Requirements:
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent & 6+ years of development experience in relevant technologies (C#, X++, Azure Services, Azure SQL)6 years or more of applicable experienceExperience within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain / Dynamics AXSolid experience with Webservices and REST APIsStrong software engineering skills across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, debug client and service side applicationsExperience with technical architecture and expertise in developing technical design specifications from functional design specifications Understanding technical design activities as a part of an implementation methodology Preferred Requirements:Proficiency with key productivity and system tools, including but not limited to Office 365 Microsoft Certifications associated with architecture, design, or functional capabilitiesFull understanding of X++ language and Extension based developmentExperience with leveraging Power Platform and Azure Services to integrate with and enhance D365Experience with configuring Azure DevOps build and release pipelinesUnderstanding of Microsoft Lifecycle Services and its capabilities to support implementation projectsPower Platform foundational knowledge#LI-OAK, #LI-IND, #LI-KCMO, #LI-CLTSP, #LI-DFW,
