Overview

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Design and develop digital / analog electronic hardware with assistance from Senior Engineers
• Analyze product requirements component specifications to insure design integrity
• Develop and implement design test plans to qualify proposed design changes
• Assist component engineers in the selection and qualification of new or replacement components
• Works with guidance from Senior Engineers

Desired knowledge, skills and abilities

• Ability to use standard lab test equipment (Oscilloscopes DVM's etc)
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement and seek guidance when appropriate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with basic design tools (pSpice, schematic capture etc)

Desired Education, certifications and experience

• Working towards Electrical Engineering, B.S. in Computer Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
