    career at an established public accounting firm? Thompson Greenspon, a Fairfax CPA firm and Washington Post Top Workplace, seeks a Full-Time or Part-Time Recruiter to join the team.


    In this position you will make an impact by being responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting talent, through generating recruitment plans, to extending offers at all levels and areas of the firm, as well as retention efforts.


    Candidates who are eager to learn, able to prioritize projects, collaborate with others, learn new technologies and communicate with candidates and colleagues will thrive in this position.


    Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
    Source, identify, recruit and retain qualified professionals for key positions within the firm.
    Partner with firm leaders to identify recruiting needs and work collaboratively to deliver on those needs.
    Identify, source, and attract top talent utilizing creative sourcing techniques for both active and passive candidates.

    Leverage candidate databases (internal and external) to identify prospective candidates to create awareness and invite them to apply for open positions including contacting passive prospects.

    Build and maintain candidate pools of strong former candidates and new prospective candidates.

    Create an outstanding candidate experience from initial candidate contact to job offer that is efficient and aligned with our values.

    Build partnerships and grow our employer brand with

    colleges/universities.

    Coordinate and attend college career fairs to represent and recruit for the firm.

    Assists with new employee orientations to foster understanding of the firm's culture and create a positive attitude towards firm goals.

    Participate in the summer internship program.


    Qualified candidates will have:
    Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
    Excellent sourcing skills and familiarity with various sourcing tools, techniques, and software.
    Strong communication skills – written and verbal
    Possess strong computer skills, including MS Office
    Experience utilizing social media for sourcing candidates

    Work Hours –

    Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours, flexible schedules available.

    Hours outside normal business hours will be expected to attend recruiting events.

    In-office or hybrid work environment available.
