    Description

    Pay Transparency Statement:

This position might also be eligible for a discretionary incentive program under specific program rules.

    Position Summary:

    Responsible for safely operating company equipment and ensuring timely and courteous delivery of products to customers.

    • Chicago Beverage Systems
    • Location: Chicago, IL
    • M-F daytime schedule, home every night, no weekends
    • We cover 8 counties in Chicagoland
    • Frequent driver appreciation events and activities
    • On-site physical therapist
    • Retirement pension plan

    • 7 paid holidays per year
    • Starting salary averages $65,000 in the first year

    Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    • Safely operating a commercial motor vehicle
    • Utilizing Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
    • Maneuvering vehicles and equipment in congested areas
    • Delivering products using different methods in various environments
    • Providing exceptional customer service
    • Completing delivery paperwork and necessary tasks
    • Returning and collecting necessary items
    • Conducting equipment inspections
    • Completing required training and certifications
    • Maintaining communication with supervisors and team
    • Handling other assigned tasks

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 21 years of age or older
    • Valid Class A CDL
    • Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience or equivalent
    • Maintaining an acceptable driving record
    • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. regularly
    • Successfully pass required background and drug tests

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Customer service experience
    • Work experience in a multi-temperature environment
    • Product handling, stocking, local delivery, or unloading experience
    • Previous roles in foodservice distribution, grocery, or beverage delivery
