What You'll Do:
The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the laboratory by following methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting data from samples.
- Prepare and analyze samples for a wide variety of testing procedures.
- Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned.
- Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
- Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
- Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.
- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
- Other duties as required.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.
