    Description

    Controls Engineer - Conveyance and Sortation Systems (Onsite in Dallas, TX with 25% Travel)

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in the material handling industry, specializing in conveyance and sortation systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PLC code and can be based onsite in Dallas, Texas, with a 25% travel requirement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain PLC programs for conveyance and sortation systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing PLC code to ensure optimal system performance.
    • Collaborate with project teams to design and integrate control systems.
    • Conduct on-site installations, commissioning, and testing of automated systems.
    • Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in PLC programming and controls engineering.
    • Strong knowledge of automation systems and industrial control processes.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
