- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering / technical discipline and minimum of Five (5) years of experience. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Description
Le'fant is seeking a SQL Developer & Data Designer (in the VA/DC or San Antonio area) to support a GI Bill modernization effort. (Hybrid Position - in office a minimum of 1+ week per month)
Requirements
The SQL Developer responsibilities include:
- Performing day to day querying and analysis using SQL queries and procedures, and script execution to enhance understanding of data within a consolidated data store.
- Considering amorphous problem sets or functional requirements to determine path forward on creating the query to support end user business needs.
- Migration of queries, including conversion of syntax, from Postgres DB to a Redshift data store.
- Developing materialized views, stored procedures and scheduled queries.
- Analyzing existing queries for performance improvement and optimize runtime against Redshift database.
