- Mastering Western Steel Buildings' MBS project templates, standards, and procedures
- Handling MBS originated estimates, engineering packages, and procurement packages
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks related to Western Steel Buildings
- Utilizing external resources to enhance work volume
- Developing strong Commercial Awareness of MBS limitations and project lifecycle stakeholders
- Peer reviewing work by colleagues
- Resolving technical issues during construction
- Conducting field walkdowns and drafting field reports
- Reporting to PEMB Studio Leader
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's with Structural focus preferred
- 2-5 years experience in structural designs of metal buildings
- Passed FE Exam. Preparing for or cleared PE Exam.
- Contributing to diverse teams in executing multiple projects through design and construction phases
- Highly organized, self-motivated, effective communicator, and respected leader
- Proficient in MBS and MathCAD for calculations
- Skilled with software like Ram Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, for independent structural analysis
- Advanced knowledge of engineering codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE7, etc)
