- Work with our external advisors where tax compliance processes have been out-sourced.
- Manage and oversee the data collection and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns.
- Manage and oversee the data collection and review of US sales and use tax returns.
- Assist with the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures.
- Manage tax audits and examinations by federal, state, and local tax authorities. Resolve tax-related inquiries and disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company's compliance.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and processes to support tax compliance.
