Looking for a Direct Hire Position? Our client is a truck leasing company and currently in need of a highly skilled Diesel Mechanics who is looking for a career with a long-standing, growing company that offers great benefits, incluiding tuition reimbursement.

Maintain work area appearance and safety
Diesel repairs, service & diagnostics
Servicing customers
Driving to Road calls as needed. Mostly onsite
Maintain certifications. Desire to continue seeking training classes and ASE certifications- Bonuses to those who complete
Prior diesel mechanic experience - No Electric experience is needed but encouraged
CDL Class B - driving throughout NJ as needed. All drivers will need to have or obtain their CDL B license. Depending on location the manager will give you a list of places to enroll. Candidates will be paying for this class on their own and will be completing this while working.
DPF laptop Diagnostic
Inspect trucks to ensure that they are in proper working condition
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose
Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standardsThe essential functions of this role include:manual lifting up to 100lbsstanding for 6 hours at one timeSkillsdiesel mechanic (1 year of experience is preferred)
