    Description Visiting Professor of Computer Science (3 year appointment)The University of Lynchburg, a private, regional university in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, visiting position in Computer Science for the academic year for the School of Sciences.The department of Computer Science is a student-centered, collaborative team with an excellent record of preparing students with a variety of backgrounds for graduate school and employment in industry. We seek an individual with exceptional potential as a teacher who can contribute to our undergraduate programs and complement existing departmental strengths.Specific Job Duties: Duties primarily include teaching courses in the Computer Science major. Doctoral degree in Computer Science preferred.Candidates must demonstrate strong abilities in teaching. A strong programming background with experience in C++.A primary interest in teaching and mentoring undergraduates at a liberal arts institution is required. Fluency in English
