    Senior Manager, Accounting & ReportingFull-Time / ExemptThe position of Senior Manager, Accounting & Reporting, will report to the VP, Controller of TruckPro and be responsible for overseeing, developing and working with Corporate Finance & Accounting and the Business Unit Leaders to prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports and budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

    This role ensures the timely completion of our month-end close process and accuracy of the master data, Additionally, the Senior Manager will develop and implement financial, accounting and operational management processes, procedures and strategies, and the tools that support them, to drive compliance and improve efficiencies and controls within the Company.


    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Lead and manage monthly, quarterly and annual close-related activities by providing oversight of the completion of processes performed by various teams.

    Report on closing metrics.

    Lead post-close debrief meetingsResponsible for reconciliation of balance sheet accounts assigned with identification and timely resolution/clearing of any reconciling itemsProvide management reports and analysis for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closeSupport financial analysis through the development of flux reports.

    Track unrecorded transactions, and lead financial review meetingsSupport external auditsLead/support improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, scalability, and automationDevelop, improve and implement store level internal controls, including expense authorizations, cycle counts / inventory adjustments, store checkbooks, etc.

    Advise the business on subject matter pertinent to accounting and advocate for operational procedures that ensure compliance and accurate financials with minimal touchpointsSet priorities and goals for the team that supports the strategic plan and direction of the Accounting group.

    Includes meeting with individual team members on a regular basis reviewing goals and performance objectives, providing feedback, direction and coaching to maximize performance of the teamSupport M&A activities and lead accounting integration post-closeFacilitate team environment, delegate tasks, reassign duties as appropriate, develop highly skilled team members and create a positive and motivating climate for team members maximizing productivity and retentionProvide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customersOther duties as assignedEDUCATION &


    EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent professional experience requiredCPA or CMA and MBA preferred, but not required7+ Years of relevant accounting & finance experienceRetail and distribution industry experience desiredSKILLS &
