    The Manufacturing Engineer - Fiber Optics will play a critical role in supporting the design and development of manufacturing processes ensuring high-quality standards. Focusing on fiber optic products and assemblies, you will ensure efficient works flows and consistent high quality products.

    Description

    • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for fiber optics production.
    • Create and maintain details work instructions, procedures, PFMEA's, etc.
    • Analyze production data and identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
    • Design and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
    • Support troubleshooting and resolution of fiber optic components.
    • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality and availability of materials.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all manufacturing processes.

    Profile

    A successful Fiber Optics Manufacturing Engineer should have:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field.
    • At least 2 years of hands on manufacturing experience in fiber optic assembly or electromechanical manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in fiber optics manufacturing processes and techniques.
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
