Provides security services with professionalism, fairness and compassion in even challenging circumstances and in accordance with policies procedures and training Inspires confidence in patients visitors and team members by presenting a professional approachable service-oriented appearance and demeanor Is alert observant ethical Complies with and enforces all safety security rules regulations Maintains Department uniform equipment good repair Performs routine responsibilities interior exterior patrols ensure safety security including but not limited to inspections identify vulnerabilities hazards fire conditions audits Interim Life Safety Measures patient valuables management thorough contraband searches Assists team members patients visitors providing information directions physical help Ensures traffic control monitors conduct visitors premises confronts unauthorized persons questioning Prevents responds investigates workplace violence Responds emergency crisis situations physically intervenes accordance training situations potential injury Investigates incidents occur Advocate Aurora property completes timely accurate reports Addresses escalates complaints appropriate leader supporting documentation Performs liaison rounding duties cultivate close partnerships department units Delivers security awareness education team members leverage assistance overall site Liaisons state local law enforcement first responder agencies Coordinates briefs monitors every law enforcement prisoner patient guard policy compliance prevent unsafe practices Maintains current Department training standards radio communications verbal stabilization CPR clinical restraints conducted energy weapon Taser Training Annual Training Plan
