    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for quality control management of Gas Division projects/jobs.

    Monitors overall quantity and quality of work performed on all assigned jobs.


    Responsible for verifying that craft and supervision assigned to the projects are completing the appropriate qualification training and training programs.

    Responsible for making decisions both small and large, in such a way that risk is controlled and uncertainty minimized.

    Serves as senior technical advisor.

    Participates in resolving difficult issues or start-up problems.

    Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.

    Follows and ensures compliance with all company safety program requirements.

    Promotes safety among peers, subordinates and supervisors.

    Performs additional assignments as directed by the Division Manager.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    4-year engineering or construction management degree preferred or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience required.

    Demonstrated experience with gas transmission quality control requirements.

    Typically possesses - 8 years of construction management and quality control management.


    LICENSE
    Possess or ability to obtain a valid class C California driver's license

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
    Advanced knowledge of gas transmission quality control requirements and techniques.

    Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, planning and analytical skills required.

    Ability to be friendly, courteous, tactful and maintain composure in dealing with customers and co-workers.

    Working knowledge of business procedures, office equipment and letter and report formats.


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit for prolong periods.

    Working conditions consists of temperature-controlled buildings or offices, outside elements such as rain, cold, and heat when working with in open environments, driving from various locations or attending meetings, etc.

    Noise levels are moderate to loud depending on work location.
