- One (1) year of related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proven experience with manufacturing as may be tested during application process
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Professional Certifications related to manufacturing, production, safety, and quality a plus
- Proficient in English
- Ability to determine the appropriate equipment, method, tooling, and settings to be used for each production job
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Ability to recognize standard metals and familiarity working with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.
- Ability to creatively consider processes and recommend improvements to bolster efficiency
- Ability to work within the confines of a standard employee handbook regarding attendance, discipline, off-work conduct
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Prepare and print Packing-Lists, corresponding to shipping needs
- Prepares shipments for postal or LTL deliveries; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
- Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work-orders/sales-orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
- Contacts carrier's and schedules shipping for each shipment
- May operate company vehicle to deliver shipments
- May assist in routine maintenance of equipment/tools in the shipping area.

Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: SHIPPING CLERK
• 1ST SHIFT
• FULL TIME
Under general supervision and using industry recognized safety procedures, employee will ensure customers receive accurate orders in a timely manner. Shipping Clerks monitor merchandise leaving Parker Fabrication and ensure all related documents, such as shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders, are in order. Shipping Clerks ensure products are properly packed and organized for safe shipment.
EXPERIENCE:
SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Shipping Clerks ensure customers receive accurate orders in a timely manner.
2. React to daily Sales-Order schedule and Job-Boss Shipping Schedule
3. Operates forklifts in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
4. Assists with Paint-Line needs (loading/unloading the line, masking, cleaning, etc.)
5. Determining & executing the best method to properly clean our product (power-wash, Typhoon Machine, Thinner, etc.)
