Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Algonquin, IL

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Algonquin, IL.

As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational interventions and support services.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of schoolwide initiatives to support students' mental health and wellbeing.
Conduct research and stay current with best practices in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement in the state of Illinois.
Licensed as a Psychologist (PSYCH) in Illinois.
Experience working as a school psychologist or in a related educational setting is preferred.
Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
