We are currently seeking a Sr. Antenna Design Engineer. This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record in define and develop antenna system for automotive. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The RoleDefine and implement antenna system architecture to optimize the radiation performance for Lucid vehicles. Design and specify various antennas, identify placement in vehicles with excellent radiation performance. We work closely with other functional teams to integrate antenna, testing and validate overall RF system performance.
Have strong solutions mindset with a strong knowledge of radiation performance with antenna and wave propagation theoretical background.
Experience in RF & Antenna design for 5G/LTE, GNSS, WIFI, BLE, UWB, AM/FM/DAB RF system for automotive.
Simulate, test, and document the best solutions for in vehicle antenna to meet suitable RF system requirements including: TRP, TIS, radiation pattern, return loss, and antenna efficiency in actual usage conditions.
Fluent in antenna anechoic chambers testing with RF test equipmentPerform trade-off studies between antenna performance, RF performance, regulatory compliance, placement constraints, size, quality, cost and time constraints.
Work with supplier to ensure quality antenna development process and manufacturing.
Qualifications
Expertise with vehicle antenna design, implementation, and integration.
Knowledge of Antenna design and vehicle level radiation performance analysis and Simulation utilizing tools such as CST & ANSYS.
5+ years' experience producing antenna solution for high volume products
Proven project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication / reporting and interpersonal skills
Advantageous:
Working knowledge of RF system level End-to-end testing
Automotive experience
Education Requirements:
M.S in Electrical Engineering, PhD is preferred
