Job summary
The Assistant Program Director will assist in directing the strategic, operational and administrative activities of the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Research Program. This position plays a key leadership role in program development, research operations regulatory and financial oversight and inter-institutional collaboration to advance clinical and translational IBD research.This job requires candidates with strong background in clinical research management experience coordinating complex multi-site studies ability to lead projects from start-up through implementation reporting excellent organizational communication problem-solving skills working collaboratively across clinical research administrative teams fast-paced academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assists directs the strategic planning development implementation programs. Represents organization meetings conferences events. May develops presents speeches presentations generate enhance awareness program(s). Provides technical support evaluating established processes conducting training attending operational meetings networking affiliated groups. Monitors progress achieving established objectives deadlines Participates planning administering monitoring program related budgets Conducts research designs new initiatives collaborates ensure program(s) remain viable Serves committees chairs writes publishable articles papers Supervises staff Oversees assists developing operational statistical reports management regulatory agencies Ensures required records documentation maintained Performs related responsibilities required.
- Support budget planning reconciliation monitoring sub-award performance coordinating Emory’s research administration offices accurate financial regulatory reporting.
