Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - Full Time - Monarch Medicine Urgent Care

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification, required
• Requires ability to handle equipment and adapt positions if needed due to patient's condition
• Requires current Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), status through ARRT or recent graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology training program (board eligible)
• If board eligible, must obtain Radiography credential within 6 months of starting
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Radiologic Technologist license or ISDH Radiology Student Permit

Responsibilities

• Work in a family practice or urgent care outpatient setting
• Avoid heavy lifting of patients
• Avoid the use of fluoroscopy
• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures promptly and professionally for patients of all ages
• Adhere to physician's instructions, operate equipment, and position patients correctly for accurate diagnostic images
• Treat patients with compassion and respect
• Expected to assist with front desk duties and occasionally with back-office tasks
