- Basic Life Support certification, required
- Requires ability to handle equipment and adapt positions if needed due to patient's condition
- Requires current Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), status through ARRT or recent graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology training program (board eligible)
- If board eligible, must obtain Radiography credential within 6 months of starting
- Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Radiologic Technologist license or ISDH Radiology Student Permit
- Work in a family practice or urgent care outpatient setting
- Avoid heavy lifting of patients
- Avoid the use of fluoroscopy
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures promptly and professionally for patients of all ages
- Adhere to physician's instructions, operate equipment, and position patients correctly for accurate diagnostic images
- Treat patients with compassion and respect
- Expected to assist with front desk duties and occasionally with back-office tasks
