    Job Description

    Position: Sr. System Administrator

    Department: Information Systems

    Reports To: Infrastructure Manager

    Salary: Up to $95,000 Annually (Dependent on Experience)

    REQUIRED SKILLS
    • Demonstrable expertise in managing VMware vSphere virtualized Server Systems across multiple data centers
    • Demonstrable expertise as an Azure administrator
    • Demonstrable expertise in HPE / Nimble hardware
    • Demonstrable expertise with Veeam Backup and Restore Activities
    • Expert Level Windows Server and User Administration
    • Expert Level with best practices around Cyber Security and tools such as
      • Alient Vault
      • Ninja One
      • Cisco Firepower Management
      • SentinalOne EndPoint Protection
    • Digital Certificate Management, including Self Signed
    • ITOps experience using Jira (ITOps Agile Project Management)
    • Experience installing and managing Web-based and Database Technologies such as
      • Rocket U2 (DBMS UniData and UniVerse)
      • Microsoft SQL Server
      • Kubernetes containers
      • Azure DevOps CI/CD tools
    • Comprehensive understanding of system-level permissions, scripting, troubleshooting, auditing, backup & disaster recovery, networking, and subject matter expertise in all typical virtualized infrastructure management technologies.
    DESIRED EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
    • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other similar program; or comparable professional work experience.
    • Team-oriented, highly organized, and resourceful.
    • Self-motivated and able to drive tasks to completion.
    • Proficient in developing against RESTful APIs.
    • Experience with responsive web design principles.
    • Prior use NopCommerce is a plus.

    • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
    Physical Work Environment
    • Long periods of sitting and standing.
    • Exposure to fluorescent lighting.
