    The Product Quality Engineer for Aerospace Investment Casting manufacturing process will drive product qualifications and quality improvements for key performance indicators (KPIs) of suppliers within the Investment Casting supply chain including quality plan implementation.

    You will own supplier First Article Inspection results and drive supplier compliance to Source Substantiation Plans or design intent verification. Provide supplier product release direction when part approval cycles are not complete while also being the internal quality focal for those parts.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Lead supplier processes from initial qualification, maintenance, and necessary improvement driven by business quality needs.
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of engineering drawings and manage suppliers and/or quality projects related projects.
    • Communicate with direct colleagues and the business on the status of First Article Inspection and Source Substantiation Plans.
    • Provide onsite support at suppliers as needed approximately 15% travel.
    • Collaborate with other Engineering, Quality, and Sourcing functions to ensure joint success.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Materials Science.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or Quality related roles.
