Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room in Bakersfield, California. This role requires a strong clinical background in emergency nursing and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients based on medical need and urgency.
- Provide emergency care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
Additional Information
- Weekly Hours: 36-48 hours per week on night shifts.
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
