- College degree or equivalent experience (1-3 years in a business analysis role); ideally in an IT capacity
- Comfort with collaborative work style, particularly between remote/distributed project teams
- EDI (the standard of Electronic Data Interchange) familiarity is a plus
- Familiarity with back-end retail or financial systems is a plus
- Experience with writing IT user stories for development teams to implement
- Data analysis experience

Our Client, A major investor-owned electric utility in the United States, is seeking a IT Business Process AnalystLocation: Remote
Position Type: Contract
Job Summary:
This junior-to-mid level candidate will work directly with Senior IT Analysts in collaboration with the Company Energy Business Operations Team to support business application systems and associated data (for example, Billing and B2B platforms, EDI transactions between Company and utility companies, as well as system's analysis and problem solving with IT development teams). They will grow into subject matter experts in the areas of business rules and system processes of these applications, liaison with development project teams in solving business problems and moving the platform forward by helping design process solutions. The main goal is ensuring the platforms and processes meet the needs of the end-user. The candidate will be led and trained by Senior Analysts in IT.
