    Description
    Coordinate and perform all operations for all shipping and transportation activities. This includes shipments to and from as well as between sites. Establish and coordinate shipping efforts for standard shipping and HazMat shipping. Lead and coordinate a group of lower-class personnel in assigned functions associated with shipping and transportation activities. Analyze and coordinate the shipping functions. Responsible as a lead point of contact for areas assigned.


    Responsibilities:

    + Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.+ Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics transportation with business systems or processes, such as customer sales,+ order management, accounting, or shipping+ Making Decisions and Solving Problems — Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.+ Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records+ Coordinating and Communicating the Work and Activities of Others — Getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.+ Act as primary focal point or Subject Matter Expert (SME) for questions from others, whether internal or external, regarding assigned Logistics+ functions
    Education RequirementHigh school diploma or equivalent. Completion of relevant college-level coursework related to Business Administration, Management, or Supply Chain preferred.


    Experience requirement:

    Requires a minimum of three years' experience coordinating shipping and transportation activities. Previous experience leadingothers preferred.
