    Nestle USA, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer in Solon, Ohio

    Duties:
    Assess, plan and deliver, together with factories, a solid MES strategy and execution for the US market.

    Assess and analyze current conditions in NUSA factories related to the MES area, bringing a systematic and sustainable plan to upgrade or deploy solutions.

    Execute the improvement plan with the full participation of the MES-E&A teams in the factories as well as other support teams like Quality, Industrial Performance and IT.

    Apply new standards working closely throughout the global and local Digital, IT and Electricity and Automation networks.

    Research, experiment and deliver the actual and future trends on connected manufacturing shop floor, including new technologies like machine learning, data analytics, vision systems and robotics.

    Lead market networks in MES to provide regular training sessions for the regional engineering and IT community.

    Work with Process Engineers at Nestle USA and related Product Technology Centers (R&D) to reduce factory losses (cost avoidance) improving the yield of production lines and reducing unplanned machine stoppages.


    Requirements:


    Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a programming role within the software development industry.

    Required skills must include 3 year of experience in each of the following:

    Industry experience in software development, programming, or engineering discipline;
    Working with automated data collection, databases, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, and automated decision control;
    Experience in enterprise level large-scale applications;
    Working with SQL programming and databases;
    Experience working within the IT environment or organization;
    Working with application integration to factory floor equipment;
    Working with development and deployment of MES systems; and
    Experience working with Aveva and Wonderware software.
    Domestic and international travel required up to 50% of time.
