Audiologist - Per DiemSUMMARY:
This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with auditory disorders/hearing impairments. Completes diagnostic assessment to rule out or define hearing impairment. Completes hearing aid and assistive device selection and fitting. Develops, implements, and evaluates developmentally/culturally appropriate education to meet the learning needs of the patient/family.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a Masters Degree in Audiology.
Doctorate Degree in Audiology preferred.
AU - Audiologist License required.
CAHAD - CA Hearing Aid Dispenser license preferred.
BLS - Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
ASHA - American Speech Language Assn OR ABGC - Am Board Genetic Coun-Diplomat preferred.
A minimum one (1) year pediatric experience required.
Bilingual skills desirable.
