    Job Description

    Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran School is seeking a second grade teacher, Monday through Friday. We are looking for candidates that are passionate about teaching, who are self-directed and self-motivated. Candidates should have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We are looking for an innovative teacher who is ready to prepare students for a life of leadership and service as they grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.

    • Adapt, plan and implement curriculum to meet the needs of individual students
    • Use relevant technology to support the growth of all students
    • Maintain the classroom learning environment using routine, structure and grace
    • Foster a collaborative learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions
    • Establish and communicate clear objectives for learning and the learning environment

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • FLDOE Teacher Certification/Eligibility required
    • Level 2 Background Check required
    • CPR/First Aid training preferred

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: From $46,000.00 per year
