Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced
RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment in West Virginia, requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
Acute care hospital Emergency Department (ER) setting
12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Epic EMR used in this position
36 hours per week
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a minimum 2-year break before applying
Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
Two supervisor/peer references required — at least one supervisor reference must be from a permanent facility if the candidate worked perm within the last 12 months
A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
Requirements
Active WV or compact
RN license required
Minimum 2 years of
RN experience required
Required certifications:
ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and PALS (AHA)
BSN not required
Epic EMR experience preferred
Valid, unexpired driver's license required for consideration
