- Assists members with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
- Promote, establish and support member usage of electronic services (ITMs, home-banking, mobile app, Opening Act, etc.)
- Assists in balancing under dual-control all cash vaults and devices.
- Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems.
- Interview members assisting with the selection of appropriate loan products. Process applications and ensure proper documents are received and completed.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services.
- Maintain knowledge and properly follow policies and procedures for the office.
- Cross-sell debt protection products. Maintain goal of 60% of total dollars processed.
- Look for opportunities and cross-sell services to members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Provide friendly, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and coworkers in a timely manner.
- To open all types of accounts, products and services accurately. Ensure all related forms are complete and legible with minimal errors.
- To prepare member account documents and scan within 7 days of original opening/modification date.
- To produce, close, and complete member loan documents, reports, etc. in a timely fashion, with minimal errors.
- Complete LMS modules in a timely manner with a passing grade of 90%.
- To actively attend and participate in assigned committee meetings and events.
- To represent the credit union in community events.
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- Counts swiftly and accurately.
- Operates a ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
- A high school education or GED.
