- Manage all aspects of family law cases from client intake to resolution, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and paternity.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
- Draft and prepare legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
- Effectively communicate with clients to explain complex legal issues, answer questions, and provide emotional support.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
- Stay up-to-date on Georgia family law statutes and case law.
- Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and paralegals.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and meet deadlines consistently.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in good standing in the state of Georgia.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal research and case management software.
- Family law experience preferred.
