The Marist UniversityEducation Department seeks candidates for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Education to begin in Fall 2026. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced teacher-scholar who will play a crucial role in shaping the future of education by supporting and developing current and aspiring elementary and secondary teachers.
We seek someone with expertise in special education (students with disabilities) who will inspire the next generation of inclusive and responsive teachers. The program addresses teaching holistically by developing professional educators who:
- Are reform-minded and inclusive.
- Possess extensive pedagogical and technological content knowledge.
- Can integrate academic content through immersive, inquiry-based instruction.
