- Supervise residents ensuring that they are safe and secure at all times
- Implement milieu management systems
- Document resident daily activities
- Take phone referrals, conduct admission screens and complete admission materials
- Conduct group discussions/activities and recreational activities
- Assist residents in utilizing acceptable coping skills
- Prepare meals for residents
- Contribute to general cleanliness of the facility
- Supervise medication administration
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent;
- Kentucky driver's license and proof of insurance;

The mental health technician is the direct care staff of the Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit, which is a 24 hour program. Mental Health Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safety of the clients and maintaining the therapeutic milieu.
