    Description
    A Key Optimus client is searching for a

    Crude and Refined Products Settlement Analyst .


    Responsibilities:
    Complete daily, weekly, and monthly settlements of physical activity for crude and refined products.

    Utilize internal and external settlement systems and data to prepare and complete balancing schedules and cash and balance sheet account reconciliations.

    Work collaboratively with internal and external counterparties to build relationships.
    Assist leadership with related projects and settlement analysis.

    Works with internal and/or external clients and service providers to resolve out of balance conditions, funds movement errors and/or transaction processing inquiries.

    Generate invoicing statements and reports from Right Angle for cash forecasting; supply this information to settlements manager and accounting team.

    Review payment schedules, fees, rates and contract details to ensure information and payment timelines are accurate.
    Identify, recommend and implement process improvements for commodity settlement and accounting activities.


    Qualifications:
    Minimum 1 to 3 years related experience is required.
    Bachelor's degree required; degree in accounting, finance or business-related field preferred

    Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively across all cultures both within the organization and with external counterparties.

    Knowledge of payables, receivables and inventory
    Experience using an Energy Trading and Risk Management system as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
