SUMMARY:
Responsible for the washing, drying and folding of all linens and towels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Wash, dry and fold all hotel linen and towels
Properly use all soaps, chemicals and equipment for cleaning linen and towels
Clean laundry equipment, vent screens, drains and lint filters
Maintain and rotate a supply of clean linen and towels
Assist in the monthly linen and towel inventory
- Maintain the linen discard Log on a daily or weekly basis
Keep the laundry room, housekeeping office and housekeeping storage areas clean and organized
Expedite the delivery of linen and requested suite items to the Room Attendants
Clean guestrooms when requested by management
- Accommodate guest special requests courteously
Answer guest questions regarding the property and local area facilities and services
Responsible for knowing all hotel emergency procedures
Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements
Responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards for department
- Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys,
Responsible for the proper administration of keys left by guests in suite
Bring all lost and found items to the supervisor's or manager's office for logging and storage
Use the L.E.A.R.N Model for all guest recovery incidents that occur (Listen, Empathize, Apologize, React, Notify)
Always have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with our guests
Notify Manager of any problems with linen and/or equipment
Answer the housekeeping department telephone if applicable and record messages including other employee or guest requests
Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver to supervisor/manager or designated area in a timely manner
- Carry out any reasonable request by management that I am capable of performing

RESUMEN:
Responsable del lavado, secado y plegado de todas las sábanas y toallas.
FUNCIONES ESENCIALES:
Lavar, secar y doblar toda la ropa de hotel y las toallas
Usar adecuadamente todos los jabones, productos químicos y equipos para limpiar la ropa de cama y las toallas
Limpiar el equipo de lavandería, rejillas de ventilación, filtros de drenaje y pelusa
Mantener y rotar un suministro de ropa de cama y toallas limpias
Ayudar en el inventario mensual de sábanas y toallas
Mantener el registro de descartes de ropa de cama diaria o semanalmente
Mantener la sala de lavandería, la oficina de limpieza y las áreas de almacenamiento de limpieza limpias y organizadas
Acelerar la entrega de ropa de cama y artículos de habitación solicitados a los asistentes de las habitaciones
Limpiar las habitaciones cuando lo solicite la gerencia
Acomodar las solicitudes especiales de los huéspedes cortésmente
Responder a las preguntas de los huéspedes sobre la propiedad y las instalaciones y servicios del área local
Responsable de conocer todos los procedimientos de emergencia del hotel
Seguir todas las pautas y requisitos de seguridad del hotel
Responsable de seguir todos los estándares de garantía de calidad del hotel para el departamento
- Responsable de la correcta administración del control de llaves para llaves emitidas
Responsable de la correcta administración de las llaves dejadas por los huéspedes en la habitación
Llevar todos los artículos perdidos y encontrados a la oficina del supervisor o gerente para su registro y almacenamiento.
Utilizar el modelo L.E.A.R.N para todos los incidentes de recuperación de invitados que se produzcan (Escuchar, Empatizar, Disculparse, Reaccionar, Notificar)
Siempre tener un comportamiento amigable y acogedor al interactuar con nuestros huéspedes
Notificar al Gerente de cualquier problema con la ropa de cama y/o el equipo
Responder al teléfono del departamento de limpieza si corresponde y registrar los mensajes, incluidas las solicitudes de otros empleados o invitados.
Completar las órdenes de trabajo de mantenimiento y entregar al supervisor/ gerente o al área designada de manera oportuna
- Llevar a cabo cualquier solicitud razonable por parte de la gerencia que es capaz de realizar
