- Hourly Rate: $21.00 plus tips
- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Educate customers about our menu offerings, including coffee, tea, and caf food items.
- Take accurate orders, paying attention to specific requests and dietary preferences.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Process cash, debit, and credit payments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf, including the service area and seating areas.
- Ensure the proper functioning and cleanliness of espresso machines and brewing equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including sanitation practices and food handling procedures.
- Communicate customer feedback to management and suggest improvements or new menu items.
- Previous experience as a Barista, Food Server, or similar role in a caf or restaurant setting.
- Must have a Nassau Food Handlers.
- Hands-on experience with espresso machines and brewing equipment.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating orders.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a positive manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant training or certifications are a plus.
