    Job Description:

    The IT Support Specialist will be an integral part of the IT Support team at Chicken Salad Chick.

    This individual will partner closely with franchisees, restaurant managers, District Managers, and corporate staff to support IT systems and troubleshoot network issues as needed.

    The primary goal of this role is to provide top-notch technical assistance and take on special projects assigned by management.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Provide primary tier one tech support, effectively resolving all support tickets and calls, ensuring proper application usage for both restaurants and corporate office.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned primary applications, including the point of sale system and back office system, regarding functionality and associated technologies.
    • Support other IT-related systems deployed and serve as a secondary subject matter expert when needed.
    • Collaborate with company or franchised locations to identify inefficiencies and value opportunities.
    • Assist in developing solutions to technology gaps.
    • Configure applications as needed.
    • Contribute feedback in training program development.
    • Provide overall field feedback on special projects.
    • Prioritize assistance to restaurant teams during openings as required.
    • Maintain all functions in accordance with established standards and approved departmental processes.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Demonstrated phone support skills, remaining calm and supportive during stressful calls.
    • Ability to listen and understand manager's needs and pain points.
    • Create solutions that create value for the restaurant operator.
    • Superior organization skills.
    • Effective working ability in both independent and group settings.
    • Strong technical aptitude, ability to learn new systems and technologies, and enforce their proper application to the business.
    • Understanding of technology terms, workflows, data flows, and integrations associated with the project.
    • 10-20% travel required.
    • Able to work some nights and weekends.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
    • Knowledge of the restaurant industry (operations, management) is a plus.
    • Previous experience in a similar role is desired.
