Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are looking for English teachersto provide in-person customized lessons for different expatchildrenbased inTuscaloosa County, AL.

We have three open classes in the area.

• Student: 4-year-old child
• Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 4 pm
• Lesson frequency: 2 x per week
• Location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home in Tuscaloosa, AL (ZIP:35406)
• Current English level: Novice
• Native language: German
• Student's language needs and goals:Preparing for school

• Student: 3-year-old child
• Availability: Tuesday afternoon
• Lesson frequency: 1x per week
• Location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home in Vance, AL (ZIP:35490)
• Current English level: Novice
• Native language: German, but speaks English at school
• Student's language needs and goals:Parents have requested an assessment in person to help determine where the child is at with his level

• Student: 4-year-old child
• Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Fridayfrom 3:30 to 5:30pm
• Lesson frequency: 1x per week
• Location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home in Northport, AL (ZIP:35475)
• Current English level: Novice
• Native language: German, but speaks English at school
• Student's language needs and goals:General English speaking and reading, games in English/songs (everything to improve fluency in English)

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
