    Position Summary
    This position will be responsible for performing, supporting and managing research on host-parasite interactions during malaria and basic immunology by supporting the laboratory's lab animal programs and carrying out independent experimentation. The incumbent will be responsible for organizing and executing the laboratory's animal experiments and ensuring that trainees and other staff have samples for their experiments. The incumbent will also independently conduct experiments to advance the laboratory's research projects. This will include performing flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques, etc. The incumbent will also be responsible for supervising undergraduate researchers that work in the laboratory. Other duties related to laboratory organization and maintenance will be assigned as needed. This position will involve working with multiple species of lab animals and involves weekend and holiday work.
