    Location:
    San Francisco International Airport - Airport Integrated Operations Center Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Primarily Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - Occasional early morning, evening, and/or weekend work hours may be required to present and facilitate course offerings.

    You are a learning and development specialist who will support the collaborative team responsible for airport operations within the Airport Integrated Operations Center (AIOC).

    The AIOC will be staffed with skilled teams and decision makers that set the Daily Operations Plan, mitigate pain points and share information to promote healthy airport operations.

    As the Talent Development Partner, you'll be at the heart of our mission to enrich, advance, and streamline all operational activities at SFO, with a primary focus on enhancing the guest experience.

    In this role, you'll take the lead in developing and delivering training and development programs, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the guest experience.

    Your mission will be to continuously improve and innovate SFO's development programming by actively seeking feedback from participants, measuring learning outcomes, and staying abreast of industry best practices.

    Reporting to the Talent Development Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind curriculum development, collaborating with specialists across various operational domains, including airside, landside, and terminals.

    Develop client relationships and performance agreements that align with client needs, our organizational culture, the practitioner's capabilities, and the ethical standards of human resources development professionals.

    Work closely with stakeholders to identify training content, boundaries, and guidelines before delivering sessions.
    Design and adapt effective assessment tools such as interviews, questionnaires, and surveys.

    Collect and analyze information to assess learning needs, determine instructional design, identify target populations, and evaluate the effectiveness of previous training programs.

    Design and develop learning programs, facilitating events, seminars, conferences, and materials.

    Coordinate training programs and events, ensuring the smooth scheduling of trainers and support personnel, as well as utilizing our Learning Management System (LMS).

    Conduct engaging training programs, including presentations, group discussions, and group activity monitoring.
    Evaluate and prepare comprehensive reports on the effectiveness of training programs, events, and seminars.
    Administer instructional programs, collaborating with contractors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective training.
    Research, budget, and justify training costs, providing valuable insights to assist in fiscal and program decisions.
    Prepare training schedules, course guides, and promotional materials. Two (2) years of verifiable experience designing, organizing, and conducting employee training programs. Thirty (30) semester units/forty-five (45) quarter units equal one year of experience.

    Verifiable experience in teaching adults and developing lesson plans may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

    Essential duties require the following physical skills and work environment:
    ability to stand for a prolonged time, drive to various training sites, use various computer software and equipment, and lift and move up to 25 pounds


    Note:

    One-year full-time employment is equivalent to 2000 hours (2000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40 hours work week.) Any overtime hours that you work above forty (40) hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.

    A proven track record in curriculum development track record for both power skills and technical, hands-on instruction.
    A passion for facilitation, whether in virtual or in-person courses.
    Expertise in training technology and presentation platforms.

    Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency to drive projects to completion, consistently delivering excellent quality work.

    Experience in designing and delivering management and leadership training programs.
    Proven experience in developing and conducting training for diverse populations.
