- Dealer Development & Support:
- Serve as the primary contact for the dealer network, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize sales potential.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, ensuring alignment with company sales, service, and finance strategies.
- Sales Leadership & Growth:
- Lead and manage a field team of dedicated territory sales managers, setting performance goals and monitoring progress.
- Drive sales of construction attachments, material handlers, trailers, hydroexcavating trucks, and hi-rail modification kits across the dealer network.
- Market & Product Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor pricing, programs, and tactics to provide actionable insights for product development and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, product planning, and marketing teams to identify new product opportunities and ensure competitive positioning.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing:
- Deliver ongoing product and application training to regional sales teams and dealer staff.
- Participate in customer and dealer visits to provide hands‑on support and reinforce product knowledge.
- Strategic Contributions:
- Provide input into inventory mix, sales programs, and marketing initiatives to optimize profitability.
- Support trade shows, field demonstrations, and local marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
- Education & Experience:
- 3–5 years of sales, product, or technical support experience in heavy construction, forestry, or material handling equipment.
- Experience working with manufacturers and/or dealer networks.
- Material handler or scrap industry experience is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of trailers and trailer dealer networks is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and other basic computer tools.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented with a team‑player mindset.
- Ability to travel extensively within the U.S. (up to 3 weeks/month) and internationally as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; passport eligibility required.
